Description

• BIO-VIM® presents a bioabsorbable, osteoconductive suture anchor crafted for tendon, ligament, and soft tissue attachment to bone via a suture in arthroscopic or open surgical procedures.
• Available in diameters of 4.5mm & 5.5mm, it is constructed from a material that undergoes chemical degradation and is typically absorbed through natural body processes.
• BIO-VIM® anchors are composed of Poly (L-lactide co-D, L-lactide) with ß-tricalcium phosphate, a blend of 70% RESOMER® LR 706 S and 30% ß-TCP
• These fully threaded anchors feature dual threads to optimize cortical and cancellous fixation, a covered saddle tip to safeguard the sutures, and cannulation to guide growth factors
• Offered in 4.5mm and 5.5mm diameters with fiber & f iber tape combinations, with Fiber Tape enhancing footprint contact.
