Description

• SUPER-VIM® suture anchors feature a cancellous thread with an ultra-small core diameter, maximizing pull-out strength in cancellous or osteoporotic bone.
• Supplied with two and three BIOFIBER® of contrasting colors to optimize soft tissue fixation and facilitate suture identification.
• Independent suture channels in the anchor body reduce suture binding.
• The fully-threaded anchor body enhances resistance to pull-out.
• Available in 5.0mm and 6.5mm diameters, loaded with USP 2 BIOFIBER suture.
• The uncoated BioFiber suture and tapes provide enhanced handling and knot security.
• Primarily utilized for Rotator Cuff Repair Procedures and Remplissage. Additionally, 5.0mm and 6.5mm ligament anchors are equipped with needles, ideal for mini-open rotator cuff repair procedures.
• SUPER-VIM® achieves an impressive average pull-out strength of 563N*.
• SUPER-VIM® 5.0mm suture anchors with needles provide a multi-purpose option and may also be used in other procedures such as MPFL Reconstruction and repair of Multi Ligament Injuries.
• In cases of hard bone it is recommended to create a pilot hole with either a 3.0mm k-wire or a 3.2mm drill bit
