Description
Non-absorbable SOFTFIX-PK® interference screw incorporates PEEK-VESTAKEEP® polymer from Evonik®. PEEK-VESTAKEEP® material exhibits an ideal combination of strength, stiffness and toughness which surpasses absorbable materials. It provides the interference screw fixation, while eliminating the need of transosseous tunnels in tendon repairs and ligament reconstruction. It can be used in many indications like Flatfoot reconstruction (Flexor Hallucis Longus- FHL), Chronic Achilles reconstruction (Flexor Digitorum Longus- FDL), Lateral Ankle reconstruction and Deltoid Ligament reconstruction.
